1st Place in all categories

Our junior high folklor dance team from Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, Centro Educativo Multicultural Yermo y Parres (CEMYP), won first place in all categories at the Zone 53 competition in early April.

They performed a native dance from Chihuahua Matachines where they took first place in best costume, best male dancer, best female dancer and best performance.

The second dance was a folklor dance from the state of Hidalgo where they again won best costumes, best male dancer, best female dancer and best performance.

A special thank you Coach Eric for his hard work and dedication. They will participate in the Regional Finals at the end of April.
